Wake Forest Opens ACC Play at NC State
• Wake Forest kicks off ACC play at NC State on Jan. 3.
• The game will be played at Broughton High School. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
Wake Forest Storylines
• The Demon Deacons finished non-conference play with a 9-4 record.
• Wake Forest went 1-1 at the Surfing Santa Classic hosted by FIU. The Deacs lost to Hampton in the first game and finished with a win over FIU. Ariel Stephenson was named to the All-Tournament Team.
• Milan Quinn has tallied four double-doubles this season. She posted career highs in points (22) and rebounds (14) in the win over Coastal Carolina.
• Sophomore Amber Campbell scored a career high 23 points in the win over Coastal Carolina. She has scored in double figures in 10 of 13 games this season and in 29 of 44 career games.
• Milan Quinn leads the ACC with 9.3 rebounds per game. She is also tenth in the league with a .539 (56-of-104) field goal percentage.
• Wake Forest topped Jacksonville, 57-51, in front of a program record crowd of 8,849 fans on Monday at LJVM Coliseum. The Demon Deacons broke the previous program record of 5,342 set against North Carolina on Jan. 27, 2006.
• The win at American was Wake Forest's first true road win since Feb. 9, 2014, a 74-70 win at Pitt. The Deacs had five neutral site wins in that stretch.
• Eleven Demon Deacons have seen action this season with six of them new to the program. Wake Forest has played three freshman, Ariel Stephenson, Kortni Simmons, Destini Walker and Elisa Penna, along with graduate transfer Keyonna Allen and sophomore walk-on Amber Long.

• Wake Forest wrapped up non-conference play with a 57-53 win at FIU in the Surfing Santa Classic.
