DEACS LOOK FOR FIRST ACC WIN VS. NC STATE
• Wake Forest and NC State meet Sunday night in Winston-Salem with both teams looking for their first ACC win of the season
• The Demon Deacons are looking to snap their first two-game losing streak of the season
• The last three meetings between the teams at the Coliseum, all Wake Forest wins, have been decided by a combined seven points
SERIES HISTORY
• NC State leads the series 139-102 (Wake leads 44-30 at home and 20-6 at LJVM Coliseum) • The home team has won the last seven meetings in the series
• Last season, the Wolfpack won 78-65 in Raleigh in the first ACC game of the Danny Manning era, while the Demon Deacons won 88-84 in Winston-Salem later in the season
• The teams have met every year since 1916 and at least twice every season since 1931 (expect for 1944 when Wake Forest didn't have a team during World War II)
WINNING THE CLOSE ONES
• Wake Forest is 7-0 this season in games decided by six points or less, defeating UMBC, Indiana, UCLA, Rutgers, Arkansas, Coastal Carolina and LSU after going 5-6 in those contests last season
• The Demon Deacons' nine wins this season have come by a total of 46 points, with the largest margin of victory coming by 10 points in the 81-71 win over UNC Greensboro on Dec. 15
• Wake Forest is the only team in the top 60 of the RPI to have all its wins this season be by 10 points or less

• Devin Thomas (21 points, 12 rebounds) and Codi Miller-McIntrye (season-high 20 points) led the Deacs
