SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Four former Demon Deacons will be involved in Sunday's Super Bowl 50 between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Broncos safety Josh Bush's participation will mark the 26th time a Demon Deacon has competed in the game, and the first since Steve Vallos in 2013, also with the Broncos.

On the Panthers' side, there are three Deacons in coaching or staff roles. Receivers coach Ricky Proehl is taking part in his fifth Super Bowl after playing in four, including Super Bowl XXXVIII as a Panther.

Additionally, Charlie Dayton serves as the Director of Historical and Alumni Affairs in Carolina's Business Operations department, and Joe Kenn is in his fifth season as the Panthers' Strength and Conditioning coach.

The game is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 7, and will air live on CBS.
