Primland Collegiate Invitational Cancelled by Fog

MEADOWS OF DAN, Va. – The 2016 Primland Collegiate Invitational was cancelled as fog hampered play throughout both days at the Highlands Course at Primland.
After first and second round play was cancelled on Monday, organizers tried to play an 18-hole tournament on Tuesday. That round began with most players completing one or two holes before fog suspended play and the decision was made to cancel the tournament.
Wake Forest will return to action Sunday with the start of the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. The Demon Deacons are the defending champions of the event, winning last year's tournament held at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in Portland, Ore.
