Manning Participating in Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest head coach Danny Manning will participate in the 2017 Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge. The challenge, which begins Monday, features 48 coaches from around the country competing to raise money for a charity of their choice.
Manning is raising money for Brenner Children's Hospital with his participation in this year's event. Infiniti will donate at least $1,000 to each of the 48 coaches' charities, with the charity of the winning coach receiving $100,000.
Fans can vote for their favorite coach at ESPN.com/Infiniti and can cast one vote per day throughout the challenge. The first round runs from January 2-22, when the top 24 coaches advance to the second round. The second round runs January 23 to February 12, when the field is cut to 16 coaches. The third round runs from February 13-26, when the final four coaches advance to the final round. The winner is the top vote-getter from February 27 to March 12.
Infiniti will donate $1,000 to the charities of coaches eliminated in the first round, $7,500 to the charities of coaches eliminated in the second round, $10,000 to the charities of coaches eliminated in the third round and $15,000 to the charities of coaches eliminated in the final round.
This season marks the second year Manning has participated in the event. Last year he reached the second round to raise $7,500 for Brenner Children's Hospital.
