DEACS OPEN ROAD TRIP WITH VISIT TO NC STATE
• Wake Forest begins a two-game road trip with a visit to NC State
• With a win, the Deacs would eclipse last year's win total, both overall and in the ACC
• NCSU is the 17th opponent of the last 18 for the Deacs to enter the game with a winning record
• The Deacs look to snap their 25-game ACC road losing streak
SERIES HISTORY
• NC State leads the series 141-103, including a 59-23 record in Raleigh (13-4 at PNC Arena)
• Wake Forest's 103 wins over the Wolfpack are the most against any opponent
• The Deacs have lost their last 11 games in Raleigh (last WF win was in 2004-05)
• The home team has won the last nine regular season meetings in the series
• NC State won 2-of-3 matchups last season, with each team winning at home before the Wolfpack downed the Deacs in the first round of the ACC Tournament in Washington, D.C.
LAST TIME OUT
• Wake Forest posted a 96-79 victory over Miami on Wednesday at the LJVM Coliseum
• John Collins scored a career-high 27 points on 9-11 FGs and a perfect 9-9 from the line
• Keyshawn Woods had an ACC career high 20 points and added six assists
• The 96 points were the most allowed by the Canes on the season and 37 over their average
• Wake scored more points in each half (48) than UM allowed in its previous game at Pitt (46)
50-40-75 GAMES
• In five games this season, Wake Forest has had a 50-40-75 game (shooting at least 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from behind the arc and 75 percent from the free throw line)
• Prior to this season, the Deacs' last 50-40-75 game came against Notre Dame in the 2014 ACC Tournament
• The five 50-40-75 games are one shy of the school record for most 50-40-75 games in a season (six in 2001-02)
• No other ACC team has more than three 50-40-75 games this year
LONG-RANGE BOMBING
• Wake Forest ranks third in the ACC and in the top 30 nationally in 3-point percentage at 39.4 (152-386)
• Last season the Deacs were 301st nationally at 31.6 percent
• Wake has made double-digit 3-pointers six times this season, a feat it accomplished just six times the previous two seasons combined
• Wake Forest is the only ACC team to have five players with at least 20 made 3-pointers this season
• Six Deacs (Woods, Arians, Wilbekin, Crawford, Mitoglou, Childress) are shooting at or above 34.8 percent from behind the arc this season (the percentage Bryant Crawford shot last season to lead the team)
• The Deacs have two of the five highest 3FG percentage games in the ACC this season, 61.9 (13-21) vs. UTEP and 61.5 (16-26) vs. LSU
