Deacs Host Wolfpack In ACC Home Opener
• Wake Forest returns home for its ACC home opener on Sunday, Jan. 8, as the Demon Deacons welcome (RV/23) NC State to Winston-Salem.
• The Demon Deacons and Wolfpack have met 81 times previously, tied for the longest-running series in Wake Forest history. Wake Forest and Duke have also met 81 times going into this season.
• Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. and will be broadcast on RSN. Mike Hogewood and Kelley Deyo will have the call.
Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons opened ACC play on the road on Thursday, Jan. 5, as the Demon Deacons fell to No. 6/7 Notre Dame, 92-72.
• Four Demon Deacons scored in double figures, led by Ariel Stephenson's 17 points. Elisa Penna (16), Amber Campbell (11) and Alex Sharp (10) also reached double figures in the game.
• Wake Forest, just the second team this season to score more than 70 points against the Fighting Irish, outscored Notre Dame over the final 20 minutes.
• The Deacs connected on 10 3-pointers, marking the first time since Dec. 20, 2014 against Missouri in which Wake Forest made 10 or more shots from long range.
Scouting The Wolfpack
• NC State enters Sunday's contest with a 12-4 mark and a 2-1 record in ACC play.
• The Wolfpack, ranked 23rd in the USA Today Coaches Poll and receiving votes in the AP Top 25, opened league play with a 70-62 win at home over then No. 2 Notre Dame before then knocking off No. 6 Florida State on the road.
• Miah Spencer (10.8 ppg), Chelsea Nelson (10.6 ppg) and Dominique Wilson (10.5 ppg) lead the offense, while Nelson also leads the Wolfpack in rebounding with 6.2 rebounds a game.
• Wes Moore is in his fourth season as the head coach of NC State and has compiled 633 career victories during his time at NC State and 15 seasons at University of Tennessee Chattanooga.

• The Demon Deacons remain at home to take on Clemson on Thursday, Jan. 12. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
