FORT WORTH, Texas –
The Wake Forest men's golf team continued play Monday at the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational at Colonial Country Club. The Demon Deacons shot 2-over for the second consecutive day and finished the round tied for third place at 4-over.

Duke holds the 36-hole lead at 1-under, followed by Clemson at 1-over par. The Deacs are tied with Texas for third place at 4-over, five shots ahead of fifth place Vanderbilt.

"This course is challenging and it played more difficult today," said head coach Jerry Haas. "It was a solid round and we put ourselves in position for tomorrow. It will all come down to the last four holes tomorrow and a lot can happen. Our team showed a lot of fight today and I am proud of them."

Eric Bae is one of eight players tied for the individual lead at 3-under after shooting even par 70 in the second round.

Cameron Young had the low round of the day for the Demon Deacons, shooting a 2-under 68 to finish the day at even par. Kengo Aoshima shot a 1-over 71 to finish at 1-over, while Marco Steyn and Eugenio Chacarra each shot 73 on Monday to round out the Wake Forest lineup.
