Chrysochos Moves on to ITA National Fall Championships Semifinals

Petros Chrysochos continues his run at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships
SURPRISE, Ariz. – Petros Chrysochos continued his winning ways at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships Friday, winning a pair of matches to advance to the semifinals of the singles draw.
After being pushed to three sets on Thursday, Chrysochos used a pair of straight-set decisions to punch his ticket to the semifinals. The senior opened play Friday against Cornell's David Volfson and earned a break in each set to claim a 6-4, 6-4 victory.
It was much of the same for Chrysochos in his quarterfinal matchup against ACC foe Jason Kros of Virginia Tech, defeating the 117th-ranked Hokie by a 6-4, 6-3 decision.
In the semifinals, Chrysochos will face eighth-ranked and fifth-seeded Thomas Laurent of Oregon. First serve set for approximately 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
