
Deacs Remain in 15th Place at Querencia

LOS CABOS, Mexico – The Wake Forest men's golf team continued play Monday at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate. The Demon Deacons shot 15-over during the second round at Los Cabos Querencia to remain in 15th place at 40-over.
Paul McBride shot the low round of the day for the Deacs on Monday, posting a 1-over 72. He is at 9-over through 36 holes of the tournament. Lee Detmer had a 4-over 75 on Monday to finish the day at 4-over to be the top Demon Deacon on the individual leaderboard.
Marco Steyn shot a second-round 74 and Brandon Gillis had a second-round 78 to round out the scoring four for Wake Forest.
The tournament concludes Tuesday at Los Cabos Querencia.
