HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The Wake Forest men's and women's track and field teams earned four event titles and nine top-five finishes at the High Point VertKlasse Meeting Friday.
The four event titles came from Alexandria Florent in the high jump, Max Adams in the discus, Noah Shute in the 100m and Emma Gallagher in the 400m hurdles.
Florent claimed her second high jump title of the outdoor season after being the lone athlete to clear the 1.71m (5-7.25) height. Florent has not finished outside of the top-five in any high jump competition since the NCAA East Preliminary in 2016.
Adams threw 50.87m (166-10) to take first in a field of 25 discus throwers. Adams' throw is currently good for sixth in the ACC.
