"Today went as well as can be expected. We had two event champions and scorers in both the men's and women's 5000 meters. We don't have the numbers we would like at this meet, but tonight we had a lot of Demon Deacon pride." - Director of Track & Field and Cross Country John Hayes
"Today was a strong start to the weekend. The competitiveness and intensity the athletes brought made it a great atmosphere and set the tone early. Bringing home two ACC titles makes it even better and gives us solid momentum heading into the rest of the weekend. On to day two." - Associate Head Coach Ashley Bastron
"We're really proud of that DMR performance. All legs ran their race and put Paul [Specht] in a great position to bring it home. It was really fun to watch those guys celebrate that win together." - Assistant Coach Brandon Hazouri
"I couldn't be more proud of Seren Rodgers and this team. The ACC is one of the toughest and deepest conferences in the country, and winning a title here is never given. It's earned through resilience, sacrifice and relentless belief. This is proof that belief, patience and hard work still win." - Assistant Coach Ryan Grinnell
