• Wake Forest closes out the regular season with four-straight games at home, beginning with High Point on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Last Time Out
• No. 5 NC State completed a three-game sweep of Wake Forest over the weekend. The Deacs battled back from multi-run deficits each game before the Wolfpack sealed the wins.
• Bobby Seymour (5-for-11, home run, double) and Michael Ludowig led Wake Forest offensively. Cole McNamee added a spark on Sunday, playing his first game at third base and going 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs.

• The Demon Deacons are a youthful squad in 2018, having started six different freshmen position players, while five rookies have seen time on the mound. Out of the position players, 217 starts have been made by freshmen (47.3 percent), compared to 90 for sophomores (19.6 percent), 152 for juniors (33.1 percent) and none by seniors.
• Wake Forest's 217 starts by true freshmen are the second-most in the country, behind only Arizona State (236). Mississippi State is next-closest with 184. Wake Forest is the only program to have five freshmen with 30+ starts each. By comparison, the Deacs totaled only 25 starts from true freshmen all season in 2017.
• The Deacs started six true freshmen on May 13 at NC State, becoming only the second team to do so this year (Vanderbilt).

• Wake Forest leads the all-time series against High Point, 34-19. The Panthers have claimed back-to-back meetings, including an 8-4 win on May 1. In that game, High Point scored all eight of its runs in the fourth inning.
