DEACS OPEN ACC PLAY IN ATLANTA
• Wake Forest begins its ACC schedule with a visit to Georgia Tech, the same venue of their last regular-season ACC game in 2017-18
• The Deacs are opening conference play on the road for the fifth straight season
• Wake Forest is looking for its first true road win of the season
SERIES HISTORY
• Georgia Tech leads 42-40 (GT leads 28-9 in Atlanta, 4-0 at McCamish Pavilion)
• The home team has won the last six meetings in the series, including the teams splitting last year's series (Wake Forest won 79-62 in Winston-Salem, Georgia Tech won 64-56 in Atlanta)

• Wake Forest has doubled up an opponent on the boards twice this season, vs. North Carolina A&T (44-22) and Cornell (50-25)
• It is the first time since 2008-09 that the Deacs have accomplished the feat multiple times in a season
• Prior to this season, the Deacs hadn't doubled up a team on the boards since Nicholls State in 2014-15
• The +25 rebounding margin against Cornell was the largest for the Deacs since a +25 (59-34) against Texas in the opening round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament
HOARD SEES 20-15
• Jaylen Hoard is the only player in the ACC this season with a pair of 20-and-15 games
• Hoard had 22 points and 15 rebounds vs. Houston Baptist and 23 points and 15 rebounds vs. Cornell
• He is one of only four Demon Deacon freshmen to have a 20-and-15 game (Travis McKie in 2010-11, Rodney Rogers in 1990-91 and Dickie Hemric in 1951-52), joining Hemric as the only freshman Deacs to accomplish the feat multiple times
