Next Home Game: Deacons Host Florida State Oct. 19

Wake Forest will make its second consecutive Saturday night prime time appearance on the ACC Network when the Demon Deacons host Florida State on Saturday, Oct. 19. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at BB&T Field.
Wake Forest will bring its 5-1 record into the contest as the Deacons continue to contend for the ACC Atlantic Division title. Wake Forest leads the ACC in scoring offense, passing offense and total offense.
Florida State is coming off a 45-14 loss at Clemson on Oct. 12. The Seminoles are 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the ACC with conference wins over Louisville and NC State.
The "I'm A Fan Zone" will open at 4:30 and this week's band is Muddy Creek Players. Located outside of Gate 1 and surrounding the Deacon Statue on the West side of BB&T Field, the "I'm A Fan Zone" will be filled with a number of food and entertainment opportunities including food trucks, inflatable games for kids along with giveaways, a pep rally, and the opportunity to ring Wake Forest's Victory Bell. The Demon Deacons will hold their Deacon Walk through the I'm A Fan Zone from 5:00- 5:15 p.m. as the team makes its way to the locker room to prepare to take on the Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. The prime time game will be televised on ACC Network.
