- Women's Basketball:
- The Wake Forest women's basketball team was selected to the Women's National Invitational Tournament and will play Maryland Eastern Shore Thursday evening at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum with tipoff scheduled for 6 p.m.
- The Deacs are 5-0 all-time against the Hawks with the last matchup coming in 2018. All five matchups have been in Winston-Salem. Wake Forest holds an all-time record of 47-7 against MEAC teams including going 3-0 against the conference this season.
- The Demon Deacons are into postseason play for the second time under the direction of head coach Megan Gebbia while also reaching the ACC Tournament for the third time in her four seasons this year.
- The Deacs earned this opportunity with their most wins in ACC play since the 2022-23 season as well as the best non-conference record since the 2021-22 season.
- Women's Tennis:
- Wake Forest will have the middle of this week off before heading up to No. 54 Princeton (11-1) for its final non-conference match of the season. The Deacs will be looking to snap the Tigers' seven-match winning streak on Saturday, March 21.
- Wake Forest leads the all-time series, 2-1, and won the last meeting back in 2020.
- Last week, Wake Forest battled in a pair of ACC matches including a narrow 4-3 defeat at SMU on Friday evening.
