DEACS TRAVEL TO CHARLOTTE FOR 2019 ACC TOURNAMENT
• Wake Forest is the No. 13 seed at the 2019 ACC Tournament and opens play against No. 12 seed Miami in the first round on Tuesday
• The Deacs and Canes split the season series, with Miami winning 76-65 in January in Coral Gables and Wake Forest winning 76-75 in February in Winston-Salem
• Tuesday's game will be the second ACC Tournament meeting between the schools (Miami won 83-62 in the 2010 first round in Greensboro)
ACC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
• The Deacs have won the ACC Tournament four times (1961, 1962, 1995, 1996)
• Wake Forest has a 44-61 all-time record in the event
• Last year in Brooklyn, the Deacs fell in the first round to Syracuse
CHARLOTTE HISTORY
• The Deacs have a 5-12 record in ACC Tournament games in Charlotte
• Wake Forest has reached the semifinals in Charlotte five times (1969, 1970, 1994, 2000, 2002)
• The Deacs are 0-2 all-time at the Spectrum Center (both in 2007-08, vs. Charlotte in the regular season and vs. Florida State in the ACC Tournament first round)
