After nearly 27 years leading the Wake Forest University athletic department, Ron Wellman will retire as Athletic Director on May 1, 2019. Wake Forest President Nathan O. Hatch has selected John Currie to succeed Wellman as the University's sixth athletic director. Hatch, Wellman and Currie will participate in a press conference Monday, March 4 at 2 p.m.
