Women’s Tennis Heading to Georgia for NCAA Tournament

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- Wake Forest women's tennis learned its postseason fate on Monday night (April 29) during the 2019 NCAA Selection Show. The NCAA men's and women's tournaments begin May 3-5.
Wake Forest will take on Austin Peay in the first match of the weekend, Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. Sunday's match will feature the winner of Wake Forest vs. Austin Peay and Georgia vs. Alabama State for a trip to the Super Regionals. The match is set for 2 p.m.
Tickets for first and second rounds in Athens are $5 per day for adults and $3 per day for youth (college age and younger). All tickets can be purchased at the gate beginning one hour prior to the first match each day.
Wake Forest is 15-18 all-time in the NCAA Tournament and is making its fourth consecutive trip to the Big Dance.
