• First serve for Saturday is set for 4 p.m. at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida, the site for this year's NCAA Championship.
Scouting the Opponent
• North Carolina enters the semis 22-6 on the year and defeated Navy, Georgia and Southern California to secure its spot in the quarterfinals where they upset top-seeded Ohio State, 4-2.
• The Tar Heels feature four ranked singles players in William Blumberg (#19), Benjamin Sigouin (#39), Josh Peck (#110) and Brian Cernoch (#116).
• This will be the third meeting between the two programs this year, with Wake Forest taking both meetings. The Deacs won, 4-2, at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships before picking up a 5-2 conference win in Winston-Salem on March 27.
Back for More
• The Deacs are looking to repeat as NCAA team champions, having defeated Ohio State, 4-2, in last year's finale played at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
• It was the first NCAA title in program history and Petros Chrysochos would go on to claim the first individual title less than a week later, defeating teammate Borna Gojo for the NCAA Singles Championship.
Sustained Success
• This year's graduating class of Petros Chrysochos, Alan Gadjiev and Julian Zlobinsky became the winningest class in program history on April 12 against Florida State.
• The win against the Seminoles gave the trio of Deacs their 117th victory as a team, surpassing the previous record of 116, set by last year's graduating class.
• Over the past four years, the Deacs have compiled a record of 125-14 as a team and a 69-3 mark at home.
Lineup Shuffle
