The Matchup
• The third-ranked and fourth-seeded Wake Forest men's tennis team looks for its second consecutive NCAA Championship on Sunday (May 18) as the Deacs face No. 2 Texas in the finals of the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship.
• First serve is set for 3 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally on Tennis Channel live from the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.

Scouting the Opponent
• Second-ranked and second-seeded Texas enters the championship match 28-3 overall, having defeated Tennessee Tech, South Florida, California, TCU and Florida during the tournament.
• The Longhorns feature four ranked singles players, featuring #7 Christian Sigsgaard, #12 Yuya Ito, #55 Harrison Scott and #80 Leonardo Telles.

Demon Deacon NCAA Championship Facts
• The Deacs are looking to repeat as NCAA team champions, having defeated Ohio State, 4-2, in last year's finale played at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
• It was the first NCAA title in program history and Petros Chrysochos would go on to claim the first individual title less than a week later, defeating teammate Borna Gojo for the NCAA Singles Championship.
• Wake Forest is seeking its 10th NCAA team championship across all spots in school history. A win would mark the third program to win back-to-back championships. Men's golf won the 1974 and 75 titles while field hockey won three consecutive championships from 2002 to 2004.
• A win would mark Wake Forest's 20th consecutive victory this year, setting a new program record for consecutive matches won in a season.

Sustained Success
• This year's graduating class of Petros Chrysochos, Alan Gadjiev and Julian Zlobinsky became the winningest class in program history on April 12 against Florida State.
• The win against the Seminoles gave the trio of Deacs their 117th victory as a team, surpassing the previous record of 116, set by last year's graduating class.
• Over the past four years, the Deacs have compiled a record of 126-14 as a team and a 69-3 mark at home.

Lineup Shuffle
• The Demon Deacons have showcased their lineup versatility this year, as 11 different players have played dual matches this spring.
Melios Efstathiou has shown the most fluidity this year, having played matches at all six singles positions.
