Wake Forest Student-Athletes Celebrate Graduation

Wake Forest University celebrated the graduation of 89 student-athletes during commencement on Monday, May 20.
Held on Hearn Plaza in front of Wait Chapel, the graduation featured student-athletes from all of Wake Forest's athletic teams. The graduates listened to speaker Frederick J. Ryan Jr., publisher and chief executive officer of The Washington Post deliver the commencement address to nearly 2,000 graduates.
In addition to the 89 graduates on May 20, another 24 graduated in December. A number of student-athletes who will finish their degree requirements following the fall semester of 2019 took the opportunity to walk on Monday.
