Deacs Wrap Up First Day at Virginia Tech Invitational

Wake Forest wrapped up competition on the first day of the Virginia Tech Invitational at Recker Field House on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Wake Forest took one first place as Hannah Brookover won the mile. Teammate Elise Wright finished third in the same event.
Elaina Roeder took third in the women's pole vault.
On the men's side, Archie Wallis finished third in the 1000 meters and Ethan Roach took fifth in the 60 meters.
The final day of the competition begins on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the women's high jump and women's pole vault. The running events will commence at 1 p.m. with the men's and women's 400 meters.
