WINSTON-SALEM, N.C, -- Wake Forest women's basketball head coach Jen Hoover announced Wednesday sophomore guard Kaylen Dickson will miss the remainder of the 2019-20 season due to a knee injury. The injury occurred during the Demon Deacons game against East Tennessee State on Dec. 5.
Dickson had successful surgery on the knee in early January.
"We are disappointed to see Kaylen to go through this devastating injury, especially knowing how hard she has worked this season," Coach Hoover said. "She will have the full support of her teammates, coaches and the Wake Forest medical staff on her road to recovery. Kaylen is a special person and valued member of this team. I have no doubt she will be back stronger than ever next season."
Dickson, who played in 28 games as a freshman, saw action in six games this season prior to her injury.
