DEACS RESUME ACC PLAY AT PITT
• Wake Forest resumes ACC play on Saturday with a visit to Pitt, the only regular season meeting between the schools
• The Demon Deacons are looking for their first ACC win of the season, after falling at Boston College and to NC State in their two early conference games

SERIES HISTORY
• Wake Forest leads 4-3 (Pitt leads 2-1 in Pittsburgh)
• The Deacs have won the last three meetings, their longest active win streak against an ACC foe
• Last season, Wake won the only meeting 78-76 in overtime in Winston-Salem, as Jaylen Hoard had 19 points and 17 rebounds, including the game-tying putback at the end of regulation while Brandon Childress and Chaundee Brown each scored 18 points
• Wake last visited Pittsburgh in 2018, posting a 63-57 victory over the Panthers

LAST TIME OUT
• Wake Forest concluded its non-conference schedule with a 76-64 victory over North Carolina A&T on Dec. 21 at the LJVM Coliseum
Chaundee Brown had 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Demon Deacons, while Olivier Sarr had 13 points and 10 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season
• The Deacs ended the game on a 10-0 run to seal the victory and conclude an undefeated home non-conference schedule (4-0)

WE WERE ON A BREAK!
• The Deacs return to action for the first time since a Dec. 21 victory over North Carolina A&T
• The 14-day span between games is the longest in-season break for Wake since 1991-92
• That season, the Deacs won at Richmond on Dec. 21 before winning at Clemson on Jan. 4

THREE FOR 13
• Wake Forest has three players averaging at least 13.0 points per game this season (Brandon Childress-16.3, Chaundee Brown-13.6, Olivier Sarr-13.1)
• Wake and Miami are the only ACC teams currently having three players averaging at least 13 points per game
• The last time three Demon Deacons averaged at least 13.0 ppg for a season was in 2004-05 (Eric Williams-16.1, Justin Gray-16.0, Chris Paul-15.3)

ACC-OLADES
• Wake Forest has had two ACC Player of the Week honorees this season, Olivier Sarr (Dec. 2) and Chaundee Brown (Dec. 16)
• Wake joins Duke as the only school to have multiple players earn the honor this season
• It is the first time since 2009-10 that two Deacs have won the award in the same season (Al-Farouq Aminu and Ish Smith)
• Sarr was honored after the Wooden Legacy, when he averaged 17.0 points and a tournament-leading 11.7 rebounds in games against Charleston, Long Beach State and Arizona
• Brown was honored after scoring a career-high 26 points in the win over No. 23 Xavier

GETTING TO THE LINE
• Wake Forest leads the ACC in free throw attempts (24.4 per game) and is second in free throw percentage (75.4 percent)
• The Deacs' free throw rate of 41.5% (FTA/FGA) ranks 16th nationally and is the highest for a Wake Forest team since 2015-16 (43.2)
Olivier Sarr ranks second in the ACC with 70 free throw attempts, already eclipsing his 2018-19 free throw attempt total (61)
• Sarr's 6.4 FTA/game is the highest rate of getting to the line by a Deacon since 2017 when John Collins averaged 6.7 FTA/game
Brandon Childress (54) and Olivier Sarr (53) rank second and third in the ACC in free throws made this season
• 24.8 percent of Wake Forest's points this season have come from the line, the third highest percentage nationally
