The Matchup

The Demon Deacons will travel to Durham, N.C., to take on the Blue Devils in an ACC South Region clash on Friday night.
The match will start at 6 p.m. and be televised on the ACC Network.
Wake Forest, ranked No. 2 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, is coming off a thrilling 1-0 overtime victory over then-No. 3 North Carolina on Sunday night.
Duke has taken two ACC contests this year, both against NC State.
The matchup will be the 57th all-time between the two North Carolina schools.
The Demon Deacons enter the match with an overall record of 16-23-8 against the Blue Devils.
This is the first meeting between the two schools since 2018, when the Demon Deacons scored a 4-2 victory at Spry Stadium.
