The Matchup
• Wake Forest closes out its weekend by welcoming No. 2 Florida State to Winston-Salem for a 1 p.m. game Sunday on ACCNX.
• The game is presented by Wake Forest Baptist Health.

Attendance Guidelines
• At this time, Spry Stadium will continue to be closed to the public. There will be a limited number of student-athlete families in the stands; however, the anticipated expansion from the Governor's office only applies to outdoor venues that can seat more than 10,000 fans. With that, Walt Chyzowych Alumni Hill will be able to host 50 fans for women's soccer with 20 of those allocated to Wake Forest students and the remaining 30 set up for general admission on a first come, first serve basis. Face coverings and physical distancing are required on the hill. Students will be awarded their spots on the hill through a weighted student ticket lottery through the new Screamin' Demon Rewards program.

Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons earned their first win of the season by shutting out Miami on Thursday, 1-0.
• Wake Forest dominated throughout the game, out-shooting the Hurricanes by a 22-1 margin.
Ryanne Brown scored the game winner midway through the second half, her second goal of the 2020 campaign.

Quick Kicks
• Wake Forest and the ACC are set for a truncated fall season. The league will feature an eight-game conference schedule followed by the ACC Championship.
• The ACC is one of four conferences to play college soccer this fall, joined by the SEC, Big 12 and the Sun Belt.
• The NCAA is tentatively planning to hold the NCAA Soccer Championship in the spring. More details on that on page 2.
• Wake Forest's top returners include defender Hannah Betfort, a co-captain last season who led the squad with five assists; Ryanne Brown, who was tied for fourth on the team with nine points on three goals and three assists; and Giovanna DeMarco, who battled injuries last year but was an ACC All-Freshman Team pick in 2018.
•  Tony da Luz is in his 24th season at the helm of Wake Forest. His Deacs have reached the NCAA Tournament in 19 of his 23 years.

Scouting The Seminoles
• No. 2 Florida State enters Sunday with a 3-0 record, having outscored its opponents (Notre Dame, Louisville, Virginia Tech) by a 10-0 margin so far this season.
• The Seminoles won the 2018 national title and finished as quarterfinalists last year.
• Yujie Zhao and Jody Brown have each scored two goals, while eight different Seminoles have found the back of the net.

Series History
• The all-time series between Wake Forest and Florida State is even at 12-12-5.
• Wake Forest has an 8-2-2 advantage in Winston-Salem.
• The Seminoles have claimed the last two meetings, both by 2-1 scores. Last year, Giovanna DeMarco scored less than six minutes into the game, but FSU won on a second-half PK.

Looking Ahead
• Wake Forest travels to Clemson next Sunday for a 3:30 p.m. game on the ACC Network.
