Coach's Comments
The team's performance this fall…
"We're seeing good things in what we train, but we need consistency. We train hard and focus on certain things and can see that improvement in the matches we play, but we haven't been able to get a rhythm with postponements and cancelations in our pod. Once we have some consistency, we will trust ourselves a bit more. The freshmen are continuing to find their way and that has been so fun to watch."

Looking toward the spring…
"Right now, our spring looks like it will be five weeks of ACC play. We'll be able to play the 10 teams that weren't in our pod once before postseason seeding, that's the goal. We're excited to have time to really teach some things before that, work in some small groups, get some people some individual reps; we have a lot we want to accomplish. We will definitely be hitting the weight room, working on conditioning, and come back healthy and ready for the spring."
– Coach Smart
Opportunity for the seniors…
"The seniors get to come back and play in the spring and that's huge. They have this time now to take care of their bodies and come back hungry and ready to compete for their last go. This felt the end becasue it's the fall, but there is a silver lining. It's not the end and they have another shot to come back and compete and they're excited for that chance to really finish strong."
