Demon Deacons Maintain Good Position After Day Two of All-American

HOUSTON, Texas – The Wake Forest men's golf team has held their second spot on the leaderboard after day two of the All-American Intercollegiate.
After a tough start to the day, birdies from Mark Power and Alex Fitzpatrick and an eagle from Fitzpatrick seemed to be the boost Wake Forest needed to stay afloat on the leaderboard. Fitzpatrick continued the day with two more birdies on the second nine to propel him to second on the board. Power recovered from his first nine to maintain a top five position, but ultimately finished the day in a tie for 13th. The Demon Deacons are just three strokes off the lead with two players inside the top 15.
