A total of 40 games are currently scheduled to have live video.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest will have a record of seven regular season games air live on national television in 2020, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
That total includes six on the ACC Network plus another on RSN, which includes the Fox Sports regional networks such as Fox Sports South. The Deacs had never had more than two regular season games be nationally televised in a season before 2020.
"We're excited for our program to be in more of a national spotlight this year," head coach Tom Walter said. "The addition of the ACC Network has already paid big dividends for our athletic department, and our whole team is looking forward to making our network debut this spring."
Wake Forest's six ACC Network selections include Clemson (March 14), at Virginia Tech (Apr. 5), the whole series vs. Florida State (Apr. 17-19) and at Boston College (May 15), while RSN selected the home finale against Duke (May 10).
All 30 ACC games will air either on national television or ACC Network Extra (ACCNX). In addition, eight non-conference home games will also be broadcast on ACCNX.
A total of 40 games are currently scheduled to have live video, including the game at App State on ESPN+ and another at Coastal Carolina on their website. Eight non-conference road games are still to be determined by the home team.
In addition, the ACC Championship will be nationally televised. Pool play will air on RSN, while the semifinals will be broadcast on the ACC Network and the championship game is set for ESPN2.
