Squire and Nava Named ACC Doubles Team of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Freshman Henri Squire and redshirt junior Eduardo Nava were named the ACC Doubles Team of the Week the ACC announced on Tuesday (March 10).
The duo earns the honor for the first time this season after helping the Deacons to a 3-0 record this week, defeating No. 24 Duke and UNCG at home and Arizona State on the road.
The tandem picked up a top-10 victory on the top court over Duke's No. 8 Sean Sculley and Nick Stachowiak, 6-4 to clinch the doubles point for Wake Forest. Squire and Nava led 5-1 in the following match against UNCG before the doubles point was clinched. The Deacon duo continued its strong presence on the court, notching a 6-3 victory against Arizona State on Sunday as Wake Forest topped the Sun Devils 5-1.
Squire and Nava moved to 7-5 on the season with three wins over ranked opponents.
The Deacons will return to action at home this weekend. 13th-ranked Wake will host Clemson on Friday at 4 p.m. and will host Boston College and NC State on Sunday at 9:30 and 4, respectively.
