Over the coming months, GoDeacs.com will provide a look at our student-athletes and administrators away from sports with a Get To Know You series. Be sure to follow our social media channels for more!
Today's Get To Know You is Olivier Sarr. Olivier is a native of Toulouse, France.
What are three words your friends would use to describe you?
Chill, dedicated and humble.
Average Tuesday night dinner with the family, what are you talking about?
Basketball (my little brother plays for Real Madrid in Spain).
What is your favorite place to go in Winston-Salem?
Favorite place to go has to be about Food since I love eating and I'll go with Penny Path Café and Crêpe Shop in Reynolda Village.
If you had a superpower, what would you choose?
Teleportation so I could travel around the world at any time and be able to go see my family in France whenever I want.
What makes Wake Forest special to you?
The feeling of being a part of a family is what makes Wake special to me. I feel like I'm home here!
If you weren't a member of Men's Basketball, what other sport would you play? Why?
I would definitely be the first seven-foot professional soccer player. Soccer was the first sport I ever played, I was better at soccer than basketball. I was always playing it with my dad at home after school or with my friends at school and I just love the game.
Describe your favorite Wake Forest memory?
Storming the court after beating Duke at home.
