Botzer Earns CoSIDA Academic All-America Honors

The Tel Aviv, Israel native and Deacs' No. 1 singles player earned a spot on the All-America third team.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest men's tennis junior Bar Botzer was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-American team, as announced by the organization on Friday.
Botzer, a finance major who holds a 3.85 cumulative GPA after three years at Wake Forest, earned a spot on the All-America third team. This comes a month after Botzer was voted to the District III Academic All-District first team.
The Tel Aviv, Israel native played out of the No. 1 singles spot this season and was as high as No. 15 in the ITA Singles Rankings this season.
On the top court, he finished the dual match season with an 8-3 record and was riding a five-match win streak before the season was cut short.
