Raca Training with Serbian National Team

The 11-day training camp will help the national team prepare for the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo
BELGRADE, Serbia – After having a breakout junior season for the Wake Forest women's basketball team, Ivana Raca has continued to hone her skills at home in Serbia.
The rising senior forward has been playing with her home nation's best after being invited to train and play with the Serbian National Team. The country, which has already earned a spot in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, is currently training in the city of Zlatibor.
Throughout her career, Raca has been a key piece of the Serbian National Teams. She helped the country to runner-up finishes in the 2018 U20 European Championships and in the 2017 U18 European Championships.
During the U20 event, Raca was named to the All-Star Five as one of the top five players in the tournament.
Raca developed into one of the best players in the ACC this past season, being named to All-ACC second team and All-ACC Tournament first team in 2020. Last season, she ranked fifth in the league with 17.2 points per game and second with 193 field goals made.
The Belgrade, Serbia native will look to cement her legacy She enters this season ranked 25th in program history in scoring with 1,065 career points.
