Demon Deacons Sit in Third after Day One of Arizona Intercollegiate

After the first day of play, three Deacs sit inside the top 20.
Tucson, Ariz. - The Wake Forest men's golf team holds the third spot in a field of 17 teams at the Arizona Intercollegiate.
After shooting 22-under in their first tournament of the year last week, the Deacs sit in third place and 15 strokes off the lead in Tucson at the Arizona Intercollegiate.
Three Deacs sit inside the top 20 heading into the second day. Sophomore Mark Power and senior Eric Bae are tied at 15 and junior Alex Fitzpatrick is T20. Sophomore Fulton Smith is playing as an individual as sits one stroke ahead of Power and Bae, at T11.
The second round will begin at 11:00 ET Monday morning. Michale Brennan and Parker Gillam will tee off at 12:20 from the first tee box. Eric Bae and Alex Fitzpatrick will be right behind them at 12:30. Mark Power will follow at 12:40.
Fulton Smith will tee off as an individual at 11:00 and Marco Steyn will go at 12:30 off the tenth hole.
