Wake Forest Set to Take on Miami

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest men's basketball team returns home Saturday for a matchup with Miami in Lawrence Joel Veteran's Memorial Coliseum.
The Demon Deacons (4-7, 1-7) are looking to improve to 2-2 at home in the new year and secure their second ACC win of the season against the Hurricanes (6-9, 2-8).
Miami is currently on a three-game losing streak since knocking off No. 16 Louisville earlier in the month. The Canes have not beaten the Deacs in the Joel since 2011.
Tipoff in LJVM is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and the game will broadcast on ACC Network.

After allowing each of its first four ACC opponents to shoot 50% or better, the Deacs have held their last four ACC opponents to an average of 46.8% from the field.
In conference play, Daivien Williamson currently ranks tenth in the ACC in scoring (14.9), seventh in assists (3.8), and seventh in steals (1.8).
The Winston-Salem native is one of three ACC players currently averaging at least 14 points, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in conference play, along with Louisville's Carlik Jones and Georgia Tech's Jose Alvarado.
