Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's basketball program and head coach Steve Forbes have signed incoming freshman Zach Keller to the 2022 roster.
The 6'10, 220-pound forward will bring size, versatility and physicality to a Demon Deacon frontcourt that will lose graduates Dallas Walton and Khadim Sy at the conclusion of the 2021-22 season.
"Zach embodies everything we are looking for in a student-athlete at Wake Forest. He plays in a championship program at ThunderRidge High School, where he excels on the court and in the classroom. He has great size and skill and is one of the top power forwards in the country. He is a fierce competitor and I absolutely love his winning intangibles. We are thrilled Zach is a Demon Deacon!" - head coach Steve Forbes
Wake Forest is currently one of forty-five D-I programs to sign a player ranked inside the top 100 of the 247Sports composite rankings in the 2022 class.
"I am really excited to be joining the Wake Forest basketball family. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to play collegiate basketball and to have the opportunity to play in the ACC is extremely special. The academics at Wake are second to none and the relationships I have built with the staff and players have been the separator in my decision. Coach Forbes is building a winner at Wake Forest, and I cannot wait to get to work and play in front of Deacon Nation!" – Zach Keller
