Wake Forest is looking to start 6-0 for the first time since the 2009-10 season Wednesday afternoon at High Point.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest women's basketball team hits the road for the second time this season, making the short trip over to High Point for an afternoon tipoff against the Panthers.

The Demon Deacons (5-0) will look to tie their best start since 2009-10 when the Deacs started the season 6-0. Spear ranks seventh in the nation in scoring with 101 total points while also ranking second in the nation in free throws made. Williams leads the team in assists and steals while ranking second in scoring, rebounding and blocks.

High Point (2-2) is one of the best three-point offenses in the country, making 10.0 per game which ranks ninth in the nation. They are also one of the better teams in the country protecting the basketball as the Panthers' 11.2 turnovers per game ranks eighth in the nation.

Tipoff for Wednesday afternoon's game against the Panthers is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. (ET) at Qubein Center. The game can also be seen on ESPN+.
