Deacs Look to Continue Winning Ways at Home

The Demon Deacons are scheduled to take on East Tennessee State and Wofford Saturday at Wake Forest Tennis Center.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 14 Wake Forest men's tennis team returns home for a pair of non-conference matches against East Tennessee State and Wofford on Saturday.
The Deacs have won three of their last four matches heading into the weekend including wins in both home matches so far this season.
First serve against East Tennessee State is set for 11 a.m. ET while the Deacs finish the day against Wofford at 5 p.m. ET.
Since the start of the 2016-17 season, Wake Forest has a 62-1 record in home matches. This includes a perfect 29-0 record over the past three seasons. The only loss at home came against Florida (4-3) during the 2017-18 season.

LAST TIME
Despite getting off to a strong start, the No. 14 Wake Forest men's tennis dropped a non-conference clash with No. 7 Virginia on Saturday afternoon, 5-2.
- For the first time this season the No. 18 ranked doubles pairing of Eduardo Nava and Henri Squire were on the court together, playing the No. 1 doubles match. They made quick work of the Cavaliers' (5-0) pairing of Soderlund and Woodall, winning 6-2.
NEXT UP
The Deacs are scheduled to open up Atlantic Coast Conference action against Notre Dame on Friday, Feb. 19.
The first serve against the Fighting Irish is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Wake Forest Tennis Center.
