Brennan Named to Haskins Award Watch List

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's golf freshman Michael Brennan has been named to the Spring 2021 Haskins Award presented by Stifel Watch List. The award is presented annually to the most outstanding men's collegiate golfer as voted on by peers, coaches and golf media.
Brennan leads the Demon Deacons with a 68.83 stroke average through four events, and is the first Wake Forest freshman men's golfer to win back-to-back events. He took home the individual at the Kiawah Invitational February 16 and at the Wake Forest Invite at Pinehurst No. 2 March 2. Wake Forest took home the team title at both events as well. In his first two events in the black and gold he finished T5 and T2 before taking home two titles. He was also named the ACC men's golfer of the month for the month of February.
Wake Forest will be back in action Monday, March 15 at the Valspar Collegiate in Palm City, Florida.
