Haberer Named ACC Golfer of the Month

Haberer is the first Demon Deacon to earn the honor since 2021.
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Wake Forest junior Tom Haberer was named ACC Men's Golfer of the Month for February, as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon.
Haberer claimed his first collegiate title at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate by two strokes with a score of 203 (-13), tying for the eighth lowest 54-hole score to par in program history.
Haberer's win was highlighted by three under-par rounds, including a low five-under 67 in round two, tallying 17 birdies and carding just four bogeys over three rounds.
The Hildesheim, Germany native has four top-five finishes over the 2025-26 season, including two runner-up finishes this past fall.
This marks the first Demon Deacon since Michael Brennan in 2021 to earn a monthly ACC honor.
The Demon Deacons return to action March 9, as they are set to compete in the Desimone Invitational at Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City, Calif.
