Deacs Begin ACC Play Against Boston College

Wake Forest will compete in the first of six ACC spring matches on Saturday night, facing Boston College.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- After opening up the spring season with a 1-0 non-conference victory over Davidson on Monday night, No. 6 Wake Forest will begin Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play on Saturday night with Boston College coming to town.
This is the first of six-straight ACC matches for the Demon Deacons as the conference has returned to the traditional alignment of the Atlantic and Coastal Divisions. In the fall, Wake Forest clinched the No. 1 seed out of the one-time only South Region.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the match will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
Fan Information
Spry Stadium will host a limited number of student-athlete families and Wake Forest students inside Spry Stadium and on Walt Chyzowych Alumni Hill for Saturday's match. There are also a very limited number of tickets available to purchase online up until three hours prior to game time, or for sale at the ticket booth on game day, while supplies last. Pre-purchasing is recommended. Parking is available in the public lots across the street from Walt Chyzowych Alumni Hill, and attendees will enter from the Polo Road spectator entrance.
Approved face coverings will be mandatory along with all other social distancing and safety requirements under Wake Forest, Forsyth County and State of North Carolina regulations as we uphold the Show Humanitate standard of our University.
Children three and under do not need a ticket to enter if sitting on a lap; if their own seat is needed a ticket should be purchased. Wake Forest Faculty & Staff
All Wake Forest faculty and staff, including Wake Forest Baptist Health and Atrium staff members, will receive free admission to games at Spry Stadium by showing their staff ID card at the ticket booth to claim their ticket, while supplies last. Complimentary tickets are available at the box office on game day only on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. For those wanting to guarantee their attendance in case of a sell-out, tickets may be purchased in advance.
Wake Forest Students
Wake Forest students will receive priority and free admission for the newly available attendance space through the Screamin' Demon Rewards and lottery programs that were introduced last fall. Students interested in attending soccer games in-person should enter the lottery through the Screamin' Demon Rewards app, beginning 48-hours prior to each game.Students will enter from the south gate main entrance to the stadium from campus.

The Demon Deacons enter the contest ranked No. 6 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll. Wake Forest also checks in at No. 4 in CollegeSoccerNews' rankings and No. 5 in TopDrawerSoccer's rankings.

Scouting the Eagles

Boston College opted out of fall competition. The Eagles' last competitive match came on Nov. 24, 2019, falling to Washington 2-0 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
