No. 11 Wake Forest Looks Forward to No. 2 UNC

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Following two dominant victories over No. 32 VCU and Coastal Carolina Sunday, the No. 11 Wake Forest men's tennis team takes on No. 2-ranked UNC on Friday afternoon. First serve from Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center is set for 3 p.m. ET.

Since the start of the 2016-17 season, Wake Forest has a 32-6 record in away matches. This includes an impressive 20-6 record over the past three seasons.

- Wake Forest kicked off Sunday with a hard-fought 4-0 sweep versus No. 32 VCU. The Demon Deacons began the match by winning doubles and continued that momentum into singles, winning all three matches in straight sets.
- The Old Gold and Black continued their dominance in the evening match against Coastal Carolina despite dropping the doubles point. The Deacs took five-of six-singles matches, securing the second win of the day, 5-2.
- North Carolina has a record of 37-22 in the all-time series with Wake Forest. The Tarheels have a mark of 16-6-0 in Chapel Hill.
- These two teams first met in 1971, with UNC pulling out a 8-1 win.
