SUGAR GROVE, Ill. -- With 24 points available on the second day of the Arnold Palmer Cup between the morning foursomes and afternoon mixed foursomes, Wake Forest's four competitors posted many low scores throughout the day at Rich Harvest Farms golf course.
From a team perspective as the tournament heads into the final day of competition on Sunday, Team USA leads Team International, 20-16. Coach Kim Lewellen's Team USA squad recorded five match play wins on Saturday morning and eight wins during the afternoon mixed foursome pairings.
Emilia Miglaccio and Rachel Kuehn were paired together in the morning and carded four birdies to win their matchup over fellow Demon Deacon Lauren Walsh and her teammate from Team International, 3&1. Additionally in the morning, Alex Fitzpatrick and his Team International partner, Arizona State's Daniel Puig, recorded seven birdies but fell in their pairing, 2&1.

The afternoon mixed foursome competition meant Migliaccio was back in action with her partner from day one, UNF's Nick Gabrelcik. The duo shot five-under par and won their matchup, 2&1.
Additionally for Team USA and Wake Forest, Rachel Kuehn played with Florida's Ricky Castillo and they carded a three-under par and tied their matchup. Meanwhile for Team International, Fitzpatrick and Walsh played together and notched three birdies. Despite some good play throughout the round, the Demon Deacon duo fell in their mixed foursome matchup, 2&1.
Competition concludes on Sunday with singles play.
