Fans can secure tickets to the Opening Night at Truist Field on Sept. 3 or any home game this season by purchasing tickets at GoDeacs.com/Tickets.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Exciting football and a fun opportunity to bring the Wake Forest and Winston-Salem community together inside Truist Field is just around the corner. The Best Fan Experience in North Carolina awaits Deacon Nation before and during games as another great season of ACC and Wake Forest football is here.

In anticipation of Opening Night at Truist Field on Sept. 3 presented by Lowes Foods, Wake Forest Athletics will be sharing enhancements to the fan experience inside Truist Field in the days and weeks to come.

This new information will begin with a myriad technology updates in place for the 2021 season.

"Our staff has done an outstanding job of curating new technology enhancements enabling us to deliver on our goal of providing The Best Fan Experience in North Carolina," director of athletics John Currie said. "Whether it is our new Verizon Distributed Antenna System to improve cellular connectivity for all fans throughout the stadium, mobile tickets or our improved videoboard show with revamped team introductions, we are committed to continuously upgrading the enjoyment of the overall game experience for all fans."

A limited number of $59 Opening Night four packs remain through August 15 and season tickets start at just $120 - only $20 per game. Click here for all the innovative and fan-friendly options.

The quickest and most efficient way to order tickets is to visit GoDeacs.com/Tickets and purchase online or call the Wake Forest Ticket Office at 336-758-3322 ext. 1. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Ticket Purchase Assurance Program (TPA) is back in 2021 with added flexibility as another element of Wake Forest Athletics commitment to providing the Best Fan Experience in North Carolina.

New Pregame Show Experience
In an effort to further enhance The Best Fan Experience in North Carolina, the 20 minutes leading up to kickoff will be new and improved this season through an evolved pregame show. The show features the Spirit of the Old Gold, Wake Forest's Spirit Squads, a new entrance for the football team and an elevated Open the Gate experience for the team introduction.

Upgrade: Truist Field Received State-of-the-Art Cellular Technology
Wake Forest Athletics has partnered with Verizon for a Distributed Antenna System to provide improved cellular connectivity inside Truist Field, including the seating bowl, concourses, and throughout McCreary Tower and Bridger Field House.

Verizon has installed similar systems at various professional and college venues to create additional capacity when many fans are accessing the wireless network at peak times.

Starting in 2021, fans will see a dramatic upgrade on how they can share all their gameday or event experiences socially in real time, and stay connected through all of their wireless devices, as Wake Forest Athletics has begun installing equipment to be ready for this fall.

New & Improved Wake Forest App
The Wake Forest Athletics App is free to fans and can be downloaded on both the App Store on Apple Devices and the Google Play Store on Android models. To access the app, you can click on either of the links above for your respective device or search "Wake Forest Demon Deacons" in the iOS or Google Play stores.  The app is fully integrated with GoDeacs.com and content from the site will appear on the app in a mobile form.

Fans will be able to get the latest news on their favorite Demon Deacon teams, view team schedules and rosters, read content and watch videos available from GoDeacs.com/watch, visit the Deacon Shop, purchase tickets and stay connected to all the Deacs social media accounts.

For fans unable to attend a game, Deacon Nation can utilize the app to listen to Stan Cotten and the Wake Forest Sports Network's radio broadcast of any football or men's basketball game. Additionally, fans will be presented with the option to opt into push notifications upon downloading/updating the app. Fans can choose to receive all notifications, or select the specific sports for which they want to receive updates. Notifications will be restricted to breaking news, victories, final scores from games, scheduling announcements and important ticket sales dates.

Screamin' Demon Rewards
Wake Forest introduced a dedicated student rewards program last fall, Screamin' Demon Rewards, which rewards the most Dedicated Deacs for their attendance at athletic and campus events.

Students will continue to utilize this program to claim their general admission tickets for all athletic events. While lotteries were used last season for each sporting event due to limited capacity, the intention at this time as we proceed with 100% capacity at all venues, is to allow students to claim tickets in the SDR app on a first-come, first-served basis.

In order to have access to the lottery, students must register for the new Screamin' Demon Rewards program and download the dedicated app for iOS or Android. To begin the season, any students registering for the program for the first time will receive bonus points based upon their classification.

More information, including FAQs and a full schedule for the student ticket lottery, is available at GoDeacs.com/rewards

Mobile Ticketing
Wake Forest Athletics will continue to utilize digital tickets this fall. This step will allow fans greater convenience, security, and control over their tickets while also minimizing counterfeiting and loss or theft of paper tickets.

The ticket office will also have more flexibility to adjust to changing physical distancing guidelines while employing the safest, quickest, and most cost efficient way for fans to receive their tickets. Wake Forest 2021 football tickets, with the exception of suites and club seats in McCreary Tower, will now arrive via email with an embedded link to download and save tickets via their smartphone's wallet. McCreary Tower suite and Flow Lexus club ticket holders will still receive traditional crickets and lanyards.
