WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- While the Demon Deacons will be providing exciting and electrifying moments on the field this fall, Wake Forest Athletics staff has made innovative and unique improvements to ensure it provides all fans with The Best Fan Experience in North Carolina.  
 
"Our staff is committed to providing The Best Fan Experience in North Carolina complete with unique amenities available for all inside and around Truist Field," director of athletics John Currie said. "Whether it is the new DEACTOWN Fan Zone presented by Forsyth County Farm Bureau Insurance or the improved video board show, we are excited to provide an electric atmosphere for our student-athletes and fans alike each gameday this fall."

DEACTOWN Fan Zone presented by Forsyth County Farm Bureau Insurance
Festivities begin each home game at the new and expanded DEACTOWN Fan Zone presented by Forsyth County Farm Bureau Insurance on the lawn outside McCreary Tower. This is a great destination for all fans with premium tailgating options, live music, video screens, local drink selections, fun and a variety of food trucks and vendor options. 
 
Activities in this space adjacent to the Deacon Statue will provide experiences for fans of all ages, from inflatables and kids games to a new beer garden space featuring the Lowes Foods Beer Den. Enjoy the new space while watching games from across the country on a new 20ft video wall within the Lowes Foods Beer Den. The DEACTOWN Fan Zone will also feature giveaways, balloon artists and face painting. Officially licensed Wake Forest merchandise from a variety of best-in-class brands will be available for purchase.
 
The DEACTOWN Fan Zone will open three hours prior to the game and close 30 minutes before kickoff as fans make their way inside Truist Field to see the Deacons take play! 
 
New DEACTOWN Tailgate Village in Partnership with Tailgate Guys
In partnership with Tailgate Guys, Wake Forest is excited to introduce a new gameday tailgate experience in front of McCreary Tower at Truist Field. This new premier location will provide access to the new DEACTOWN Fan Zone, premier food and beverage catering options, and provide an experience that is walking distance to Gate One.

Fireworks & Pyrotechnics
All six home football games this fall at Truist Field, regardless of game time, will feature enhanced fireworks and pyrotechnic displays from three locations within Truist Field. These displays will be larger and more advanced than ever before and will further enhance the team introduction and the moments of celebration each time the Demon Deacons score!
 
Official Wake Forest Football Yearbook
Fans are encouraged to download and peruse the 2021 Wake Forest Football Yearbook, which will be available digitally via GoDeacs.com.  
 
Deacon Gameday LIVE
Throughout each game day at Truist Field, fans will enjoy live updates from other games across the country, as well as the top plays from the Deacons' matchup through the new Deacon Gameday LIVE Show streaming from a new set at the top of Deacon Hill. This show will air live on the video board and through the Deacon Virtual Ticket App during pregame, quarter breaks, and halftime of each Wake Forest football home contest. 
 
New Pregame Show Experience
In an effort to further improve The Best Fan Experience in North Carolina, the 20-minutes leading up to kickoff will be elevated this season through an evolved pre-game show featuring the Spirit of the Old Gold and the Wake Forest Spirit Squads. This show will feature the fan favorite tunes you know and love, while also introducing new songs, cheers, and chants, as well as the return of other classic tunes! 
 
New Team Intro Experience
Following the conclusion of the band and spirit pre-game show, fans will be able to enjoy an all-new team introduction sequence! This experience will feature a dedicated entrance for the Demon Deacon to welcome him to the field in his own unique way. This will be followed by an all-new, elevated Open the Gate Experience and team introduction, utilizing field-level tunnels beneath the new Touchdown Club, complete with multiple behind-the-scenes cameras, a new gate, and expanded fireworks and pyrotechnics.

Fans needing assistance are also encouraged to visit Wake Forest Athletics gameday information website. The gameday page is the hub of all fan information pertaining to gameday policies and procedures for Truist Field.
 
Additionally, Rhino event staff team members are available at numerous guest information booths inside and around Truist Field. Locations are identified on our interior map found here
 
Health & Safety Information
Information regarding Truist Field's COVID-19 health and safety protocols and procedures will be released at a date closer to kickoff.
