WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest graduate Ian DuBose signed his first professional contract with the Kirchheim Knights, of the ProA League in Germany, on Friday.

DuBose started 10 of 11 games for the Demon Deacons and averaged 10.9 points and 4.6 rebounds in 24.5 minutes per game. He ranked second on the team in scoring and third in rebounding and minutes.

DuBose became the first player in program history to earn First Team Academic All-America distinctions earlier this year and is just the third to earn All-America honors, joining Chris Paul (2005; Third Team) and Rusty LaRue (1996; Third Team). He was also named to the Academic All-ACC Team at the conclusion of the season.

During a successful undergrad career at Houston Baptist, DuBose was the 2019-20 Southland Conference Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Year, a 2019-20 First Team Academic All-Southland Conference selection, member of the 2019-20 NABC Honors Court, a 2018-19 Second Team Academic All-Southland Conference selection and a member of the 2018-19 NABC Honors Court.
