WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest football team opens Atlantic Coast Conference action on Saturday, Sept. 18 inside Truist Field against Florida State at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Saturday's week three matchup marks the 38th meeting between the Demon Deacons and Seminoles as Dave Clawson looks to earn his second-straight win against Florida State after Wake Forest defeated the Noles 22-20 in the last meeting between the teams in 2019. Nick Sciba went a perfect 5-for-5 in the win and had a career-best 16 points in the victory.
Overall, the home team has won three out of the last four matchups.
Jaquarii Roberson heads into the conference opener with a touchdown in six consecutive games, the second-longest streak in school history and the longest since Sage Surratt, who tallied a touchdown catch in eight-straight contests between 2018-19. He has nine career games with four-plus receptions and 80-
plus yards, ranking second among active ACC WR.
