Women’s XC Prepared for Chanticleer Challenge

CONWAY, S.C. – The Wake Forest women's cross country team will be traveling to the Chanticleer Challenge hosted by Coastal Carolina on Friday night at Hackler Golf Course.

The women's 5k will start at 5:00 p.m. The meet is open to the public and admission is free.

The Demon Deacons will be joined at the competition by Campbell, Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, Coker, College of Charleston, Elon, Missouri Valley, Savannah State and Winthrop.

LAST TIME OUT
Graduate Carolien Millenaar placed within the top 10 to pace the Wake Forest women's cross country team at the Wolfpack Adidas Cross Country Challenge to a second place finish.

Millenaar placed seventh in her first race of her Wake Forest career; she finished with a time of 17:08.7. The Deacs placed six in the top 20 and finished runner ups to host No. 1 NC State, who finished with 15 points.
