Demon Deacons Gearing Up For Thursday Night Clash With No. 8 Virginia

Wake Forest will face its third top-10 opponent in the past four games.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest women's soccer team will return to action Thursday night when the Demon Deacons travel to face No. 8 Virginia at Klöckner Stadium.
 
Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m., and the match will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.
 
The Matchup
  • Following a 1-0 loss to No. 2 North Carolina, Wake Forest will play its second-consecutive road game as it travels to face No. 8 Virginia.
  • Virginia is winless in its last three matches, including ties with Syracuse and Virginia Tech.
  • The Demon Deacons are .500 on the road this season, boasting a record of 3-3-1.
  • Virginia is 7-1-2 at home, with its lone loss coming to No. 3 Florida State.
